- 3Download the CSV with selected values masked
Security · browser workspace
Mask selected CSV values locally in your browser. Keep the first and last character where possible and review the result before sharing.
Quick start
Everything runs in your browser, so you can test the workflow with sample data when available before using production files.
Output: A new file or report produced locally in your browser.
Any selected text column can be masked. Values keep the first and last character when possible, with the middle replaced by asterisks.
The output does not contain the complete original value, but short masks can still reveal information. Treat this as masking and review re-identification risk.
For lower-risk test data and demonstrations after you review whether the masking is sufficient for your use case. It does not by itself establish legal compliance.
Use the symptom-specific walkthrough before changing a production file.
