At HappyCSV, we take a radical approach to privacy: We don't want your data.

1. No Server Uploads

Unlike other online tools, HappyCSV processes your files 100% Client-Side. This means your CSV and Excel files never leave your computer. They are processed locally in your browser using Web Assembly and JavaScript workers.

We do not have a database of your files. We cannot see, read, or sell your data because we never receive it.

2. Data Collection

We collect anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the site. This includes:

• Pages visited
• Tools used (e.g., "Merge Tool" vs "Split Tool")
• Browser type and device type
• Referrer (where you came from)

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics provider. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant.

3. Local Storage

We may use your browser's Local Storage to save your preferences (like "Dark Mode" or recent tool settings). This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
